The applications of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Systems Optimization allow the efficient and sustainable digitization of our business, industrial, and social sectors. In collaboration with the Lleida City Council, the University of Lleida, and the Polytechnic University of Valencia, we organize the Lleida Artificial Intelligence & Optimization workshop (LAIO 2024). This event, framed within the actions of Lleida Tech and the Agrobiotech scientific park, will be held in Lleida, Spain (https://goo.gl/maps/45BHncw1P472sdox9) on October 24 and 25, 2024.

Aiming to promote applied research and transfer in the aforementioned areas, this workshop enables direct interaction between a select group of experts from different universities and companies. The workshop will explore ways for effective collaboration in R&D, projects and best practices in AI, and Precision Agriculture. The workshop is also an excellent opportunity to present to society some of the research and transfer projects that we are currently developing through university-industry collaborations.
